Sara Nabil
Sara Nabil is a Postdoctoral Fellow at CIL (Creative Interactions Lab) in Carleton University who did her PhD in OpenLab, Newcastle, UK. Her research integrates interior design with interaction design, using soft seamless sensing, e-textiles and smart materials that are malleable, shape-changing or colour-changing. Sara’s work has been exhibited at a number of exhibitions including ‘Living with Adaptive Architecture’ (Lakeside Arts Gallery Nottingham, UK 2018) and the Immersive Hive (Great North Museum, UK 2018). Her background includes both a BSc in Computing and an MSc in OUI design with prior experience as an HCI Lecturer, Interior Designer and Sr. Software Developer.
