This ongoing research project explores the design and implementation of novel technologies to make music learning more accessible to blind and/or low-vision music learners. Taking a community lead research approach, we work with musicians, teachers and learners to address key challenges for music learning, such as non-verbal communication and music reading.
This project is led by Leon Lu, a Ph.D. candidate at Carleton University and supported by The FMDG Music School and other community partnerships.
